Smoothie mousse

When I got home from school I was really craving a cool tasty smoothie so I decided to make something fun out of it and the result? Smoothie mousse! It actually tastes great and it has a funny texture, but it does taste really delicious! This don’t have to be a snack but it could also be a dessert! You can put it in the freezer for a while as well to get a little more ice cream feeling! Its very simple, just make it as a regular smoothie except you add one more ingredient, Whey FX non flavored protein powder and coconut milk! When you blend Whey FX protein powder the texture becomes much more light and get that mousse texture! That together with some fruit and coconut becomes a delicious mousse! Here comes the recipe, and also feel free to try other fruits / berries for different flavors! 😀

Recipe for healthy smoothie mousse: (enough for about 2-3 persons) Total calories: 330

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk ( the one with a thick texture and lumps in it)
  • 1/4 cup turkish yoghurt ( use the regular one and not the low fat one to get the right thickness)
  • 1 tbsp low fat milk ( or more, depends on how thick you want it)
  • 1 dl frozen raspberries
  • 1 dl mango
  • 1/4 cup Whey FX non flavored

1. Mix everything in a blender. A tip is to take the fruit/ berries first in the blender. The more you blend it the thicker texture you get! If you want a lower thickness then put some more milk in it! Pour in a glass, top with a few berries and enjoy! DONE!
